Dr. Jeannice Fairrer Samani, MBA takes a vision and makes it a reality. She is a rarity and distinguished Executive leader in technology and business intelligence. She has had a 20 year technical career in the Silicon Valley as an executive manager and as an lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University and Santa Clara University in the School of Engineering. Currently, as CEO at Fairrer Samani Group, LLC, a global business intelligence consulting firm, Fifth Wave a STEM education Initiative, and manager director of Nextogen, integration of Business and IT Engineering. She led successful scaling to global markets. She has also led innovative initiatives to build top-performing organizations with management “bench strength” and staying power. Previously, as Global Operation for Anita Borg and architect of the Senior Women Summit and speaker at Grace Hopper. Jeannice led cross-functional teams, managed and strategized diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive change for women in technology. She developed and managed a dashboard platform for the engineering department at Cisco Systems and business system manager for the information technology products. Dr. Samani have received a number of awards from community and business organizations. She is a sought away keynote speaker on technology trends, Advancement of Women & Inclusion, and entrepreneurship. An architect and mentor for the Techwomen program for eight years, Jeannice has traveled to Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East as a delegate on behalf of the U.S. Department of State as an advocate for girls & women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. She serves as advisor for Space Apps NASA, in Nigeria and Serra Leone, Ignite Stanford University graduate business school program and advisor for Santa Clara University School of Engineering and Carnegie Mellon graduate students. She is on public and government Boards of Directors. Fairrer Samani holds a PhD in Business Administration from Columbus University, Masters in City and Regional Planning-transportation engineering from UC Berkeley, MBA in management and sustainability from Golden Gate University, BA in Political Economics / City and Regional Planning from University of California, Berkeley, and Management Development Entrepreneurship from UCLA. Her post-doctorate work from Stanford in business management. She serves on several government and private Boards of Directors for economic development and STEM education. She is currently, writing a book on Managing from the Middle (™): Innovative Leadership for Building Business proposed release date Fall 2020.
